

I also tap on "Notifications" to disable notifications while I am sleeping. UPDATE 2: You're not limited to pressing the LEFT button - you can wake the screen by pressing ANY of the buttons. I don't think that'll be a problem for me, but I'll let you know if my wife kicks me to complain about the screen because it registered a "tap" and turned on. I don't know if that's a problem for you and your wife. UPDATE: Apparently, you can still wake up the screen by tapping on the touch screen as well.

You will now need to press on the LEFT button again to wake up the screen. Then tap on "Screen Wake" to disable the auto screen wake feature. If you have fitbit pay enabled, that will come up instead, and you will need to swipe to the left. Long press the LEFT button to bring up the notification/wake options.
